“ Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner and got the mushroom Swiss burger and a chef salad. Both big portions and very tasty. Onion rings are great and fry sauce is tasty. Waffle fries were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Mozzarella sticks with big and had a nice batter on them. Service was friendly and fast and the whole place is clean and nice inside. Definitely coming back again! Don’t let the parking lot fool you, it’s definitely worth stopping in. ”

“ The French dip I ordered today was the best I've ever had! The au gues was perfect, the bun was soft and the provolone cheese and roast beef were perfect together. It had what I think was an onion on it too which made it so amazing ! The fries were really good as well they had great portions and reasonable pricing. The waitress was super sweet and got our food out quick. The atmosphere was awesome . Highly recommend if you're passing through or live in Idaho falls. Definitely would go back! ”

“ We went for the first time, for lunch. It wasn't very busy when we were there. My husband ordered the 8 piece wings, and I ordered the French dip with onion rings. My husband did the wings were a 10 on his scale. He loved them. My French dip was delicious, but the top of the roll was a little cold in the middle area. It does take a while to get your food. I felt bad for the guys at the table next to us. They were sitting at the table waiting for their food before we ordered, and their food came right before ours. They had to ask for a to go box because they didn't have time to sit and eat it. If we are short on time, we probably won't go here, but if we are in no rush, then we will be back. I want to try their burgers. They looked amazing. The staff is so very nice. We have gone back several times, and the food is always delicious. We love the new cards they have that if you go 5 times, you get 5.00 off your next visit. Anything you order will be fantastic. ”

“ The owners are very nice and easy to talk with. Our food was great! I forgot to take pictures before we started eating We didn't wait very long at all and the food was very hot when it got to the table. Some of these comments dis the buns... the buns are good on the burgers and the hoagie for the Philly is too. They do serve bottled/canned alcohol beverages. So we kept our tab open when we originally ordered (this included food) and she kept checking up with our table bringing us drinks and anything else we needed. I'll definitely come back and eat here again. Thank you for the good food and great service! ”

“ Off the rails was off the rails!!! It's a very casual place, you walk in pick something off the menu and if it's not busy you seat yourself. I got the Swiss and mushroom burger and hubby got BBQ burger with waffle fries and had mozzarella sticks to start. The mozzarella sticks were fantastic and had amazing cheese pull, which everyone knows makes the difference between good and bad mozzarella sticks (see picture below). The food came out quickly and was warm and delicious! There's a pool table inside to play as long as you have quarters. All in all great food, great service and great ambiance. I will say however if your vegan or vegetarian this place is not for you as I couldn't see any vegan options on the menu, but will be back! ”

“ I went here twice in once week. I ate here for lunch to try the place and I was impressed. I got the deluxe chicken sandwich with waffle fries. It was reasonably priced and I thought it was good. I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the chicken to be a chicken patty, similar to what you’d get at a grocery store. I was thinking more of a hand battered type of chicken tender. But it was still good! I then came back with my wife. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger with the onion rings. They don’t charge extra for the onion rings, which I thought was cool. The burger was my wife’s favorite part of the meal. It’s not mentioned on the menu, but it’s actually a DOUBLE bacon cheeseburger. The burger and chicken sandwich has nice large buns. The onions were very good. We also ordered the loaded waffle fries. Loaded means bacon chunks and shredded cheese. These weren’t our favorite because they were quite fry, maybe from being cooked and then baked to melt the cheese? Maybe nacho cheese would help here. We also got the mozzarella sticks, which I enjoyed. Excellent cheese pull. I recommend dipping them in the ranch. Lastly, we got a dozen chicken wings. We had the option to split the dozen wings to have two different types of sauce. We had mango habanero and Buffalo. I was pleasantly surprised. These wings were my favorite of everything I tried. They were crispy, but not too crispy you couldn’t tell the bone from meat. The inside was moist and the chicken and sauce was great. 11 for 12 traditional wings, that’s a great deal anywhere. I also want to mention that on Google, it shows this place as a coffee shop, not a restaurant. So I hope that gets updated, so people can find this place easier. The inside is nice enough and they have a pool table and TVs. We will be definitely coming back. I recommend Off The Rails Cafe. ”
